KICにおける生成AI活用ガイドラインの紹介 - 新たな知識の可能性への一歩

本学の「探究実践」は世界的コンサルティングファームの問題解決手法をベースとした、本学オリジナルの教育メソッドであり、近年では国内外のイノベータ育成プログラムや国際機関の研修プログラムにも採用されるなど、人材育成手法または課題解決手法としての評価が高まっています。学生はKICオリジナルの「探究チャート」を使って、自分が何に対して問題意識を持っているのか、またそれをどのようなサービスやシステム、プロダクトで解決したい(価値を提供したい)のかを明確にしつつ、それを実現するための、資金、技術・ノウハウ、人材についても具体的にしていきます。そしてその結果、①人は喜んでくれるか? ②独自性はあるか? ③収支はとれるか? の視点で事業としての意義や有効性について何度も検証を繰り返します。

Fall semester for the new academic year has started in October 2017 and the students are attending their classes. At KIC, the educational model aims to produce professionals and business leaders who can contributes to the prosperity of their countries and people by finding solutions to social problems through the implementation of the “Tankyu Practice” principles. KIC president, Professor Toshiki Sumitani, is the instructor of the “Tankyu Practice” special course. He conducted the first lecture of the course on October 12, 2017 in which he gave an orientation about the concept of the “Tankyu Practice”. Vice President, Mr. Kenji Fukuoka, joined the first lecture and presented his ‘”Tankyu” like activities since the Great Hanshin-Awaji earthquake in 1995. The students enrolled at KIC in this year attended the first lecture and were attracted by the meterials presented.

[ About “Tankyu Practce” ]
“Tankyu Practice” is KIC’s original method that is based on a problem solving method introduced by one of world famous consulting firms. It is increasingly adopted as a human-resource development and problem-solving method both within and outside Japan, and for training programs of international organizations. In “Tankyu Practice” the students define the issues and how they want to solve them using services, systems and products. They also consider fund, technology, know-how, and human resources to realize that. They will reflect on their proposals many times until they verify the importance and effectiveness of the business they planned.During “Tankyu Practice” a student asks questions like “Are people willing to use the solution?” “Is the service I am providing more cost-effective than existing or other possible services?” “What is the budget problem?” and so on.
Using the strategic and thinking skills gained by this method the students are going to advance to “Specific Theme Study A’’ from the second half of the first year. And from the second year, they advance to “Specific Theme Study B” where they start making prototypes for the solutions they planned.
