JICA, UNDP, KIC are pleased to announce that on Wednesday, August 23, we will jointly host an interactive event, “AFRI CONVERSE,” featuring a panel of experts and field-level representatives on development issues in Africa. The event will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
Under the theme of “Investing in Africa’s Youth Capital: Fostering a New Generation of Leaders and Professionals,” this year’s event will introduce initiatives related to human resource development in Africa and discuss future prospects.
This advocacy series has been held 14 times so far as a follow-up project to the TICAD. This year’s session will be held at the Sonic Hall in the Kobe Denshi vocational school in collaboration with KIC, marking the first time it will be held outside of Tokyo.
From KIC, Vice President Prof. Naito will be moderating the session, and Ms. Delphine Mukahirwa, a second-year student of the Innovator Course, will participate as a panelist.
