KIC joined TICAD VI Japan Fair in Kenya

KIC participated in TICAD VI Japan Fair, which was held in Nairobi, Kenya on August 27-28, 2016.
The TICAD (the Tokyo International Conference on African Development) is an international conference with the theme “to promote high-level policy dialogue between African leaders and development partners”. It is the sixth time that TICAD is held, and the first time that it is held in Africa because previous five conferences were held in Japan.
Japan Fair is an exhibition, which is held as an official event of TICAD. KIC and Kobe city set up booth with “Nurturing human resources using ICT and creation of innovation eco-system, which have been promoting tied with Kigali city, Rwanda” as theme. Such exhibitor was only KIC as a university in Japan.
Including the Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, many Japanese and international leaders visited our booth. We showed our education achievements and researches in ABE initiative program.
