President of Swift Xi Co., Ltd. A serial entrepreneur as well as an enthusiastic expert of ICT4D in Africa.
Since 2010, Mr. Kenji FUKUOKA has been in charge of the management
of Kobe Institute of Computing as vice president, also working on
the ICT4D Grassroot Projects in Rwanda. After that, he has been
devotedly working for the human resource development of ICT and
industry development in Africa, contributing partnership between
Japan and Africa. In January 2019, prior to TICAD7, the Japanese
Government invited the Rwandan President Paul Kagame, also the
chairman of the African Union, when he participated in welcoming
ceremonies as a representative of various sectors in Japan. The
education system of our institution was highly valued by both the
Japanese Government and Rwandan Government. In 2018, he has
established Swift-Xi Co. Ltd as a joint venture with the U.S.
areospace industry, and he became the Representative Director.
